Are you an agency? Scale your team's work and impact with The Agency Package.
We know you’ve been waiting for this day for a while now. Rest assured, all the wait is going to be worth it.
As you probably noticed, this post will discuss the latest features we’ve been working on, which are live right now.
Six of them are feature requests that came from our amazing customers (possibly from you as well), and the other three are added improvements to the online design tool you already love.
Let’s start with the features that were highly requested.
The majority of you wanted to be able to add extra animations to your creations. We’re thrilled to let you know that now it’s possible to add more movement to any layer, meaning right after the build in and before the build out transitions.
By using the timeline, you can add Middle Animations and make your design stand out even more.
For example, you can use it to emphasize the call-to-action button or make the price/offer more visible in the banner ad.
Play around with the Shake, Heartbeat, Blink, or Pulsate animation effects and apply it to any design element.

Besides the middle animations, we also made sure to create ten brand new eye-catching transition presets.
These are ready to use with just one click. You can also get into the advanced mode to enable further editing, customize the timing, and adjust other fine details for each new animation style.

The fact that you’re able to create interactive and animated content is one of the key features you love about The Brief. That’s why our primary goal is to diversify the creative animation capabilities we offer to you.
To do this, we’ve added the option to set a specific trigger to a middle transition.
Right now, there are three types of triggers:

This is one of those features that’s going to be a huge time-saver for you.
You can now add transitions to multiple build ins and build outs, all at once. Moreover, you can remove all the animations you’ve added in one single click or drag multiple handles together.
Simply select all the layers you want to edit and apply the changes in one single click. It’s super-easy!
You can also copy and paste the same transition to multiple layers or adjust the end time of a build out in various layers at the same time.

This is yet another highly requested feature that many of you have been waiting for.
Drag the scrubber handle to a new position on the timeline or pull it over the transitions to get a preview frame by frame of your movements on the stage.
Additionally, you can click anywhere on the timeline ruler to set a different starting position for your preview. After you do this, just hit space to play your preview.
Click on Reset play position to go back to 0 seconds.

We’ve also worked on adding brand new paste options for animations.
A. In the Editor, you’ll discover a new function called Paste transition with timing.
This will paste not only the animation preset you copied, but will also paste its original starting time and duration.
If you want to use the paste feature in the old way, then select the default option and then adjust only the preset.

B. In the Generator, we’ve gone even further when it comes to the capabilities added here. Here, you’ll have the possibility to paste on this layout only, all layouts, rectangle layouts, vertical layouts, or horizontal layouts.
Simply copy a build in/build out/middle preset and paste it over every layer of your banner set in just one click.
You can also paste it only to your rectangle layouts if you want to. Please note that this will also paste the starting position and duration of the animation style you copied.
Although we’ve added all these new fantastic animation capabilities in The Brief, it all comes with a cost.
That being said, we had to get rid of the old animation interface. Clicking the transition button from the Properties Bar will now trigger the timeline from the bottom of the screen.
Please note that you’ll find all the settings from the old UI, under the advanced button in the top right corner of your presets list.
We apologize to those of you who were used to working with the transitions the old way. We know that it can be frustrating when you need to change the way you do certain things.
However, we strongly believe that the new method it’s more efficient and will improve your workflow when designing banners.

Thanks to this feature, you can now crop the images you upload to the desired size right from the stage.
Simply enter in crop mode by double-clicking on any image or just search for the Crop Image Button in the settings section of your properties bar.

We know that all of the designers and font lovers out there will appreciate this feature.
We’ve completed the existing fonts list with 40 new font libraries from Google Fonts. Not only that, but we’ve also updated ten existing libraries with more font weights and various styles.
One thing that we’d like to add is the fact that all of the features are available for both the single banner editor and the banner generator.
We hope you’re just as excited as us about these new updates.
