There were and still are a lot of rumors saying banner ads are dead and that banner ads are losing their place in the industry and nobody is using it.And maybe they are right. But let me ask you something: What exactly is a banner ad?
Is it the annoying visual that pops-up and interrupts your daily online experience? Is it the notification you see about a special offer from your favorite brand? Or is it something you don’t really understand?
What if I rephrase it and say visual ads instead? Something that you use in your every daily work to promote your brand, your content marketing project or your entire business. Maybe “visual ads” sounds better than “banner ads”.
But let’s get back to banner ads and take a look at them the same way we look at visual ads.
The truth is, nobody knows how to create a great banner ad. And when I say “great”, I mean a banner ad that makes the user click on it because it contains valuable information at the right time, for the right person on the right platform.
After years of research and thousands of banner ads analyzed on our platform, we came up with the question – How can we help our users and the industry make better banner ads?
